Discover The Right Way To Get Visitors From Social Bookmarking Sites

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

With social bookmarking you will be able to funnel large amounts of targeted traffic to your site or blog. People are intrigued when they see your vote on social sites like Digg or Reddit. It makes them want to visit your site to see what you have to offer and to learn how you may be able to help them. You can look at bookmarking sites as another form of search engines where people gather to look for specific types of information. The huge difference between Google and social bookmarking sites is that the bookmarking sites are controlled by the users, not search engine bots. The work based on feedback: a person reads an article, votes for it and shares it with others if they find it is useful. This is an ongoing process. Therefore, social sites rely on the community to determine what is quality information and what is simply a waste. So when you use social bookmarking for your own marketing purposes, you need to be careful that you provide information that people will find interesting.

First and foremost, your bookmark’s title doesn’t need to match your article’s title. It’s just not necessary. As a matter of fact, it may be more useful if you make your bookmarks title more unique and enticing, unless your website has an awesome title. The title of the bookmark is the first thing people see and will be the most important factor in whether or not users check it out. You need a title that will attract people attention enough that they want to go to your site and see what you have to offer. Your title will be one of thousands, so it is important to make it stand out as unique. In addition, it is advisable that you provide an intriguing description for your bookmark. The description for your bookmark should be utilized to intensify the readers curiosity and it should contain the same “interesting streak” as your title. It is important that you do not give a complete summary in your description. Only give enough information that people feel they “need” to read more. This strategy can work for driving traffic to not only articles but also to videos or blog posts. If you are trying to get traffic to your blog, it is vital that you do not bookmark the homepage of your blog. Don’t simply bookmark the main domain of your blog. By doing this, you are using up your one bookmark. This makes it vary hard to know what the targeted visitors took the time to read. You should rather try to bookmark the exact post you want to drive traffic to. This will also aid you in understanding which posts on your blog are driving in traffic and what you’re readers are interested in. You can use it to monitor what the people want. So whether you’re bookmarking a blog post or a video, make certain to use the url for the post or video and not your root domain.

There are literally thousands of different social bookmarking sites on the web. However, most of these will fail to give you any results, because they are not very good and are not very search engine friendly. What is the difference between these various social bookmarking sites? Is it hard to identify one? You can Google it and see how many results you get, the higher, the better. You may also want to see if there are many blogs about it or if it is the center of conversations. Remember not to look only for quantity, you must find quality. How much benefit you’ll get out of this technique will largely depend on the quality of your bookmarks, rather than how many bookmarks you have. It is when marketers simply try to get a lot of bookmarks that they fail to earn a lot of profits. Make sure you do the research and work that is required to make this strategy work for you, and soon your site will be well on its way to success.

There are many different tools to automate the social bookmarking process. I have used different tools to automate social booking marking process for my site Magic Article Rewriter

Marketing For Realtors: Simple Strategies That Work

Saturday, August 22nd, 2009

In this current economy Realtors really have to go out of their way when it comes to creating an interesting and effective marketing strategy. Marketing for Realtors is generally done by print ads in local newspapers, billboards, and in some cases television commercials in the areas in which they have properties for rent or sale.

One of the most under used assets that a Realtor can turn to is the World Wide Web. The use of Internet Marketing can increase a real estates business by more than 30% each and every year. In fact, it has been determined that Realtors generate more sales from online marketing than from all physical means of marketing put together.

A website that is easy to navigate and contains the information that home searchers are looking for is vitally important. Websites are the most turned to resource when an individual is searching for a new home. If your website is lacking the information and details that they need in order to shop for a property, then you will fail when it comes to online marketing.

Simple text property listings on your companies website is ineffective! If you truly want to increase your sales and gain more exposure for your company and properties then you need to go the extra mile and create a website that features dynamic content. You need a website that allows users to see the properties you have for sale or rent in video and photo directly on your website.

Realtors can also take advantage of video sharing networks such as YouTube in order to gain more exposure for properties by uploading house tours. These tours than can be found by keywords from Internet surfers or can even be embedded into the coding of your own website so that users of your website can take a virtual tour of the properties that you have for rent or sale.

A very simple form of marketing that is not used to its potential is that of flyers. Realtors who create flyers and distribute them via mail or by placing them on cars in parking lots, have been statistically proven to produce better results and more sales than general newspaper advertisements. In fact, a real estate company that implements the use of flyers can increase their overall yearly sales by more than 18%.

There is no denying that creativity in marketing is by and far the best method of marketing. The more creative you get the better results that you will produce. The public has become so used to general advertising ploys that you will have to seriously begin thinking outside of the box in order to produce the results that you desire.

This Is Why You Need To Be Using Twitter

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

At this point everyone has heard about the Twitter phenomenon and either have their own account or know someone who does. If you’re like me you’re probably wondering with the draw to Twitter is but more importantly what it can do for you. Marketers are discovering the value that Twitter has from a number of different vantage points.

As someone who didn’t want to use Twitter for quite some time, I finally dove in and learned what all of the excitement was about. Similar to other social networking sites like Flickr and Facebook and others, Twitter provides a forum for real time communication. It connects us all and brings us closer to others with similar interests.

One of the best things about this social media tool is the ability to follow like minded individuals. Said another way, you can access what people are saying within a given industry or niche. This is vital to staying on top of things and continually learning about your trade. In the past, you had to sign up for RSS feeds or continually read online articles, reports, and posts. With Twitter you simply follow others who provide valuable information and access meaningful content through posts and links.

You may be thinking that Twitter sounds great for learning about a particular but what other value does it provide. After you’ve identified those you want to follow for work related reasons, you should also consider adding some individuals to your list that are aligned with hobbies you may have, goals, or aspirations. Twitter is shaped by you and for you so consider what content would add value to your life.

Once you’ve gotten comfortable with Twitter, its time to start building a following. Just you follow others, others may want to follow you. The best place to begin is by adding quality posts on a regular basis. What are you reading that may be of interest to others? What web sites are you visiting on a regular basis? Share those things that provide value to others and you will quickly create a large list of followers. Once you have a list, you can begin to utilize your list of followers much like you would a direct marketing house list.

After building a list that is comprised of followers that value what you have to say and offer by way of free information, consider how you can encourage them to move through your purchase process. One tip is to offer free information that they can register for or download from your site. Be sure to use an auto responder to help move them through to the purchase of a product or service you or your company has to offer. This is one of many ways to benefit from Twitter.

If you haven’t already reached this conclusion, using Twitter is like have a direct dialog with prospects. Begin by offering something of value, gaining their trust and following. Once you’ve proven yourself as an expert or having authority in a given area, it’s time to promote products or services that help to solve a problem. Twitter is a great tool for building your online business and targeting prospective customers.

What I Think About Ryan Deiss

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

A while back I bought an internet marketing course by Ryan Deiss with the title “continuity Blueprint” It was pitch through a huge internet launch like the typical internet marketing courses are done and was very well played to say the least. I really was drawn to the way Ryan Deiss broke down the process of building a membership site online to its simplest form so even a newbie could understand and follow his techniques.

When I got Ryan Diess’s program I tore through it and went to work on building my site and my business. Useing his techniques at first I have to say I had my doubts that it could be done and done so easily.

I kept pushing and soon developed a membership site with over 250 members each paying around thirty bucks a month.

I must tell you that Ryan Diess is an absolute genius and his concepts and strategies work like gangbusters. I really thought that having an online business was for really smart people but I know now that with the techniques that Ryan Diess taught me I will be making money online for a very long time.

“The Social Media Money System” is a new course that Ryan Diess has partnered to produce with Perry Belcher and I am aixously awaiting my copy because I have not been able to get a hold of the social media aspect of the internet and how these guys build such a large social media following.

When I get the Social Media Money System I am going to consume it just like I did with Ryan’s continuatiy blueprint because I know that everything that Ryan is involved it is absolutely top notch.
